Lover's Sanctuary

Hello mga ka-LS! Dahil sa matagumpay na short story writing contest na ginanap noong anniversary ng Lover’s Sanctuary, napagdesisyunan namin na magpa-contest uli. Open ito sa lahat ng aspiring at amateur writers, non-member o member man ng kahit anong online writing pages.

Pakibasa na lamang mabuti ang mga rules para hindi malito sa pagpapasa ng inyong mga akda:

1. Sumulat ng one shot story na ang theme/topic ay tungkol sa buhay-estudyante. (Hindi kasama ang elementary at preschool, ha?)

2. Kahit anong genre puwede. Puwedeng Tagalog, English at Taglish ang lengguwahe.

3. Kailangan 3,000-4,000 words ang word count ng story mo. Minimum 3,000 words at maximum 4,000 words. Hindi bababa ng 3,000 words at hindi rin lalagpas ng 4,000 words. Napakalinaw na niyan.

4. Kailangan bago ang story mo at hindi pa naisasalibro o naipa-publish sa kahit saang page, sa Wattpad at sa iba pang website.

5. Criteria for judging:

    40%- originality/creativeness
    40%- right usage of punctuations/ grammar 
    20%-Story impact/lessons

6. Umpisa ng pagpasa ng story ay sa April 20, 2015 hanggang sa May 20, 2015. Ang lahat ng story na matatanggap namin ay ipo-post namin dito sa aming page sa May 22,2015 hanggang June 10, 2015.

7. Pakipasa ang inyong story sa aming email: jrp14214@gmail.com. Kailangan as attachment ang story ninyo at nasa MS Word format. (Hindi namin tatanggapin ang inyong story kapag hindi naka-MS Word format.) Pakilagay din ang title ng story at name ng author sa subject. For example: Ang Tangi Kong Pag-ibig - Juan Dela Cruz

8. Kapag nakapagpasa na, wait for our approval dahil ie-evaluate pa namin ang inyong entry kung may mga nilabag na rules like tamang word count, tamang topic at tamang format ng story.

9. May apat na winners at anim na makakatanggap ng consolation prize. Ang consolation prize ay iang libro mula sa mga published writers namin.

10. APAT na winners lang ang pipiliin namin. Bakit kamo? Dahil apat pa lang ang published writers ng Lover’s Sanctuary – sina Elena Benedicto, Mia Jane, Angel White at Friah Anne. And the four winners will have a chance to write a collaboration story with them. Ang apat na winners din ay awtomatikong magiging member ng Lover’s Sanctuary at maaring magpasa anytime ng manuscript nila para mai-publish. Pagkatapos iyon siyempre ng collaboration story nila with LS published writers na ipa-publish din.

KARAGDAGANG TANONG:

1. Kapag nakapili na ng apat na winners, kalian magsisimula ang collaboration story?
-Depende sa usapan ninyo ng magiging katambal mong LS Published writer.

2. Anong klaseng story ang gagawin at gaano kahaba?
-Any genre. Must be 24,000 to 28,000 words.

3. Kapag natapos na ang collaboration, ipa-publish na ba siya?
-YES.

4. Saan ipapasa ang collaboration story?
-Sa aming email pa rin: jrp14214@gmail.com . Also, please add our page, LOVER'S SANCTUARY para makatanggap ng updates sa inyong mga stories.

WRITING CONTEST!

Hello guys. We are holding a Short Story Writing Contest in celebration of JEL ROMANCES PUBLISHING's 1st year anniversary on February 14, 2015. This is open to all aspiring and amateur writers out there.

RULES

1. All entries must be original and previously unpublished.

2. Entries can be written in English or Tagalog and must not exceed 10,000 words.

2. Theme: Love story with a moral lesson

3. All entries shall be judged based on the following:

70% - Editor's and Publishers' choice
30% - from your likers

4. All entries will be posted in our website and FB page, Lover's Sanctuary to garner likes from readers.

5. Interested participants must submit their stories to jrp14214@gmail.com with the following details:

subject: writing contest entry
title of the story/ name of writer

6. Deadline of submission of entries shall be on February 5, 2015.

7. Winners will be announced two weeks after the contest. 3 to 4 winning entries will be compiled and published in one book. Compensation will be given to the winners after the book launch.
